The building, completed in 1995, was designed by architect Mr. Theologos Georgiadis, paying tribute to the aesthetic of Thessaloniki in the early 20th century. Its form exudes a timeless character, inspired by the elegance of European grand hotels of the 1930s.

As of September 2025, the Mediterranean Palace welcomes its guests to its fully renovated Deluxe Rooms and Suites, designed with an emphasis on neoclassical elegance and up-to-date comfort.
